The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The RN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures, and standards.

PRN nurses will report to an assigned Clinical Services Manager (CSM) based on current area of expertise.
One (1) year CURRENT hospital bedside registered nursing experience required in same area as selected to work PRN.
Work hours vary from 7A-7P or 7P-7A seven days a week for inpatient areas.

Duties of the Job:
Select to work for any Integrated Clinical Enterprise (ICE) unit:
-Critical Care (ICUs or ED)
-Maternal/Infant (NICU, Antepartum, Postpartum)
4 to 12 hour shifts (11A-3P or 2P-6P) in NICU Lactation Program (will train to pass competency
for milk lab and patient education)
-Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI)
8-12 hours shifts
Infusion 1 and 4 work 12 hours Sunday - Saturday.
Requirements of the Job:
-Minimum of one (1) year current hospital/bedside registered nursing experience in SAME AREAS as selected unit.
-Work two (2) 12 hour shifts a month with a maximum of 1000 hours in a 12 month floating period.
Concurrent work one (1) 12 hour shift a month with a maximum of 1000 hours per year in a 12 month floating period.
-Work 2 Holidays/year: 1 Major (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 Minor
-Work two (2) weekend shifts/year
-Receive 20% shift differential for E/N/P shifts
-Receive 10% weekend differential Friday from 2:30P until Sunday at 11P

Inpatient Plus (3 month contract based on hospital need)
-Agree to initial interview and second appointment for sign-up papers
-Complete pre-screening test(s) (PRIOR TO INTERVIEW) if request to work:
Emergency Department, Intermediate Care, ICUs, or Nurseries.
No re-testing offered, must score 80% > or wait 30 days to retest.
-Chemotherapy certification required to work oncology units or Infusion 1 and 4 clinics.
-PRI applicants required to show proof of CPI training.
