The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The RN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards.
Work Hours: Fulltime position; 11A-11P, three shifts.
Job Duties: Registered Nurse I-III to provide patient centered care obtained by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physicial and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members. The Main OR consists of 20 Suites with procedures in Trauma, Neurology, Ortho, General, Robotics, Gynecology, Spine, Plastics, Breast, Urology, ENT, Solid Organ Transplants, Thoracic, Vascular, and Cardiovascular, among others. Our tenured staff of OR RNs assist in Arkansas' only Level 1 trauma hospital.
Required Experience: RN License, OR registered nursing experience; basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience: 3 years or greater of OR RN experience.
