The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The RN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards.
Work Hours: 7P-7A, three shifts during the week, plus rotate weekends.
Job Duties: Registered Nurse I to provide direct patient care to adult medical/surgical patients to include assessment, medication administration, charting/documentation, collaboration with all disciplines. Continuity of care is delivered by a strong and consistent interdisciplinary team utilizing the 'Hospitalists' model to also provide physicians on duty 24/7. Staff welcomes team members who are interested in disease processes and excited to work together to solve complex specialty cases.
Required Experience: RN License, minimum of 1 year registered nursing experience; great communicator and great work ethics, understands patient and family centered care or willing to learn; basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience: BSN, 2 years or greater of RN nursing experience, previous experience in med./surg. or acute care.
