The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The RN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards.
Work Hours: 7A-7P, three shifts during the week, plus rotate weekends.
Job Duties: Registered Nurse I to provide direct patient care for the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, interoperative and post-operative and newborn patient, including high-risk patients. Provide oversight for unlicensed staff.
Required Experience: RN License, minimum of 1 year registered nursing experience; basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience: BSN, 3 or more years registered nursing experience, previous experience on a labor and delivery unit, good communication skills, the ability to multitask, and strong interest in maternal/child nursing. RNCOB, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring Certification.
