Advanced Practice Registered Nurse will assist surgeon with clinic, organizing visits and performing clinic procedures, assist in the operating room, answer pages and round on post-operative patients on a daily and PRN basis. APRN will be responsible for managing care of outpatients post-operatively, answering telephone inquiries and filling prescriptions. Nurse must have a high level of expertise to perform assessments/diagnosis/treatment of actual/potential problems of patients.
The .60FTE APRN in the PACE program will work in a clinical setting. He/she will provide a comprehensive assessment to the children referred to the program. The successful applicant will work with a team of physicians, mental health professionals, and speech/language pathologists providing diagnostic assessments and treatment recommendations.
Required Experience: MSN, RN License, APRN License or eligible to apply, must have National Family Practice or Pediatric Certification or be eligible.
Preferred Experience: 1 year experience evaluating children and teens.
