  • Overview

    Clinical Service Managers(CSMs) have major responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practice, and standards of the organization, and nursing services within their defined areas of responsibility. The CSM has authority to make decisions in these areas specific to the unit managed and has 24 hour accountability for unit operation. The CSM practices within the standards of UAMS, the American Nurses Association for Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nursing, Nursing's Social Policy Statement, and specialty

    Responsibilities

    Schedule: Hours flex to meet position needs; will primarily be off on weekends.

     

    Job Duties: Clinical Services Manager (CSM) Registered Nurse will have the opportunity to participate in the coordination of high risk patients at the leading referral center in our state.  Come be a part of a highly motivated area where leadership, management and research opportunities are abundant.  The CSM has 24 hour accountability for Medical Specialties operations, clinical quality, patient and staff satisfaction. The CSM is an integral part of the unit who works collaboratively with the F6 Advanced Practice Partner (APP) and reports directly to the Medical/Surgical Division Director.

    Qualifications

    Required Experience: RN License, BSN with 3 years or more clinical medical/surgical experience minimum, with leadership experience and commit to obtain Masters in Nursing/Health related field within 5 years of accepting position required.

    Preferred Experience: Masters Degree and National Certification.
