    Schedule: Part-Time Temporary, As Needed Basis.


    The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in the Allo Transplant Clinic.  This professional nursing role will require the ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff.  Will analyze more complex and ongoing patient assessments and data to identify patient needs.  The RN II will assist individual patients, their families, and providers in developing the plan of care to meet patients’, their families’, and practitioners’ needs by prioritizing multiple nursing diagnoses and collaborative medical problems in to the POC. 


    The RN will provide patients support, education, and assistance in the prevention and/or maintenance of their disease and/or health and wellness state and will work with the individual patient, their families, and providers of care to develop and implement individual health plans, and provide support to the patient in self-management. Coordinate care and/or follow-up for patients who receive care in outpatient clinics. Coordination of prescription refill requests and patient education coordination in collaboration with physician staff. The RN will develop a specialty in patient care related to the clinic's populations and acts as a resource. The RN will work with the providers and clinical staff to implement innovative approaches and set priorities to meet patient/family needs. Commitment to patient outcomes results in high levels of performance despite workload changes.


    PRN Nurses will report to an assigned Clinical Services Manager 


    PRN Applicant’s Work history will be screened to match the position in which they have applied for.


    PRN Maximum allowable hours in a floating year is 1000.

    Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Bachelors in Nursing, Master's in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma is required. Valid RN License, minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience; excellent communication skills, strong work ethics and accountability, basic computer skills.


    Preferred: 3 years or more nursing experience with current BLS.
