The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The RN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards.
Work Hours: 7A-7P, three shifts during the week, plus rotate weekends.
Job Duties: Registered Nurse I to provide quality care for assigned patients using excellent nursing skills, communication skills, and work ethic. Ability to manage complex medical patients in a teaching hospital.
Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing. Valid RN License, 1 year of Registered Nursing experience, excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, strong work ethics and accountability.
Preferred Experience: National Certification; BSN or MSN; 2 or more years of nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting such as a teaching hospital; cardiac and/or women's health experience a plus.
