Location: Pine Bluff, Arkansas
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the direct supervision of the Pine Bluff Clinic physician(s) and nurse(s) by assisting with telephonic correspondences. Participates in Nurse Procedure clinic per RN direction. Functions as Medical Technician when necessary. Obtains laboratory specimens as ordered by physician. Ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked. Ensure clinic supplies are current and adequate inventory. Performs other assignments as assigned such as daily AED checks, clinic inventory, etc. Triage results reported to RN or Physician. Performs Vital signs, medication administration per physician orders, and other nursing procedures per RN or Physician direction.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), is a specifically trained member of the clinic team. Licensed Practical Nurse is to promote wellness, improve outcomes, and self-care within a defined population of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. The LPN provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The LPN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards.
Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program is required. Valid LPN License, minimum of 2 years of LPN experience; excellent communication skills, strong work ethics and accountability, basic computer skills.
Preferred: 3 years or more nursing experience with current BLS certification.
