The Assistant Clinical Services Manager will provide evening-shift and weekend leadership coverage, 5-8 hour evening shifts or 4-10 hour evening shifts; responsible for 24/7 operations with 2 shifts per month weekend expectations.. Schedule: PRN, As Needed Basis Shifts Vary, Equivalent of 24 hours on a regularly scheduled basis (monthly). Schedule: Full Time, Night Shift + Call   The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.  The PACU is a 22 bed unit that is open 24/7 to accommodate patients who have undergone surgical or other procedures which require general anesthesia. In addition, PACU is the unit for critical care patients. PACU provides an all RN staff with a background in critical care or emergency nursing. The RN staff are BLS, ACLS and PALS trained. PACU serves as a back-up to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital nurses when the ACH patient requires surgery or other procedures at UAMS facilities. Schedule: Part Time   The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in our Labor & Delivery Unit (E5). UAMS Labor and Delivery unit is located in the Harry P. Ward Clinical Tower. The unit consists of 14 LDR rooms, four triage observational beds, two operating rooms suites, a three bed recovery room area and two state of the art Neonatal Stabilization rooms used to stabilize acutely ill neonates with specially trained staff from the Intensive Care Nursery. Labor and Delivery provides high-risk obstetrical care for patients all over the state. On average, this unit performs approximately 300-330 deliveries per month. The LDR rooms allow the expectant mother to labor, deliver, and recover in the birthing suites with family support. The Physician Extender (PA or APRN) will be located at ACH in Little Rock, AR and will assist Orthopaedic Spine physicians with clinic, organizing visits and performing clinic procedures, assist in the operating room, answer pages and round on inpatients as needed. The Physician Extender will augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients; collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services. Will be included in the Orthopaedic after hour call rotation. Call for urgent and/or emergent treatment of orthopedic conditions is expected and a requirement of the position. The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) have major responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practice, and standards of the organization, and nursing services within their defined areas of responsibility. The unit is for patients that may have a mental health crisis, but do not meet criteria for an inpatient psych admission. The unit has 16 beds, provides 24/7 care, and has a typical length of stay of 1-4 days. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. Clinical Services Managers(CSMs) have major responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practice, and standards of the organization, and nursing services within their defined areas of responsibility. The Medical Assistant (MA) works under the direct supervision of the clinic physician by assisting in the examination and treatment of patients. The MA will conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), obtain EKG's, and records information on patients' Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The MA will also draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Also prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
