The Assistant Clinical Services Manager will provide evening-shift and weekend leadership coverage, 5-8 hour evening shifts or 4-10 hour evening shifts; responsible for 24/7 operations with 2 shifts per month weekend expectations.. This position will also supervise all unlicensed staff for their assigned unit.   The Assistant Clinical Services Manager  (ACSM) is responsible for managing nursing personnel, administering patient services, serving as a nurse, acting as liaison between physicians and nurses, and serving on various committees. Schedule: Full Time, Night Shift + Call   The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.  The PACU is a 22 bed unit that is open 24/7 to accommodate patients who have undergone surgical or other procedures which require general anesthesia. In addition, PACU is the unit for critical care patients. PACU provides an all RN staff with a background in critical care or emergency nursing. The RN staff are BLS, ACLS and PALS trained. PACU serves as a back-up to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital nurses when the ACH patient requires surgery or other procedures at UAMS facilities. Schedule: Part Time   The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in our Labor & Delivery Unit (E5). UAMS Labor and Delivery unit is located in the Harry P. Ward Clinical Tower. The unit consists of 14 LDR rooms, four triage observational beds, two operating rooms suites, a three bed recovery room area and two state of the art Neonatal Stabilization rooms used to stabilize acutely ill neonates with specially trained staff from the Intensive Care Nursery. Labor and Delivery provides high-risk obstetrical care for patients all over the state. On average, this unit performs approximately 300-330 deliveries per month. The LDR rooms allow the expectant mother to labor, deliver, and recover in the birthing suites with family support. Will be included in the Orthopaedic after hour call rotation. Call for urgent and/or emergent treatment of orthopedic conditions is expected and a requirement of the position.
