Assistant Clinical Services Manager to provide evening-shift and weekend leadership coverage, 5-8 hour evening shifts or 4-10 hour evening shifts; responsible for 24/7 operations with 2 shifts per month weekend expectations.. This position will also supervise all unlicensed staff for their assigned unit. The Assistant Clinical Services Manager (ACSM) is responsible for managing nursing personnel, administering patient services, serving as a nurse, acting as liaison between physicians and nurses, and serving on various committees. The Registered Nurse (RN), will provide specialized patient care and education for patients receiving radiation therapy at the UAMS Radiation Oncology Clinic.  This professional nursing role will require the ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff.  Will analyze complex and ongoing patient assessments and data to identify patient needs. Schedule: PRN, As Needed Basis This posting will be used to fill multiple positions   The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the Main Pre-Op Unit. Our 21 bed Pre-Op services both the outpatient and inpatient populations. Pre-Op supports the preparation of patients prior to procedures/surgeries including but not limited to Cardiothoracic, General, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Urology, Vascular Surgery, and Neuro Interventional Radiology. Pre-Op allows the family member/s to remain with the patient prior to the procedure as well as during the recovery period to enhance patient / family satisfaction and continuity of nursing care. Schedule: Full-Time, Night Shift This posting will be used to fill multiple positions   The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in Medical Oncology/Transplant (E7).  This unit has 28 private rooms and provides state of the art therapies, including stem cell transplant, to a wide range of medical oncology patients. Practicing in this environment allows the registered nurse to develop skills in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, management of a range of IV central access devices and a variety of symptoms associated with the disease and/or treatment, and the development of skills in emotional support and palliative care. Schedule: Full Time   Clinical Service Managers (CSMs) have major responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practice, and standards of the organization, and nursing services within their defined areas of responsibility. Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri with Call Including Weekends This posting will be used to fill multiple positions.   The RN Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab  will provide direct patient care as a RN in Prep and Recovery and Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab. In this role physical care will be provided in the prep, intra procedure and post procedure care of patients. Full Time Schedules Available: 7A-7P \  7P-7A \ WEO A+ This posting will be used to fill multiple positions   The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in our Labor & Delivery Unit (E5). UAMS Labor and Delivery unit is located in the Harry P. Ward Clinical Tower. The unit consists of 14 LDR rooms, four triage observational beds, two operating rooms suites, a three bed recovery room area and two state of the art Neonatal Stabilization rooms used to stabilize acutely ill neonates with specially trained staff from the Intensive Care Nursery. Labor and Delivery provides high-risk obstetrical care for patients all over the state. On average, this unit performs approximately 300-330 deliveries per month. The LDR rooms allow the expectant mother to labor, deliver, and recover in the birthing suites with family support. Schedule: PRN, As Needed Basis Shifts Vary, Equivalent of 24 hours on a regularly scheduled basis (monthly). The 24 hours is typically 2-12 hours or 3-8 hour shifts, but the shifts could change based on the need of the unit/clinic.   The Registered Nurse will require the ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic  providers, fellows, and staff.  Requires the ability to effectively work with patient referral sources, facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, and provide patient education on complex conditions.
